A Cross to Kill, Andrew Huff's Christian Suspense

Happy Summer!! Of the many things I am thankful for, one is the opportunity to read amazing books, and Andrew Huff’s books, A Cross to Kill, and now Cross Shadow, do NOT disappoint. It’s a memorable and exciting series, and totally hilarious! A Cross to Kill challenged me, made me shake my head a few times, and had me laughing out loud more than once. It takes a really good author to manage all that and leave you counting down the days until the sequel comes out. Andrew Huff managed this very well! And now the second book is here. … Read More

Author Steven James Books Are Great Christian Suspense Novels

I thoroughly enjoy Sci-Fi. You can call me a Trekkie and I wouldn’t mind. Shows like Sliders and Eureka are fun! But they all lack that thread of faith, of being able to trace the fingerprints of God. I also enjoy Crime shows like JAG and NCIS. They cover some awful stuff, but Justice wins. How important is keeping your promise? On a scale of one to ten, where would you place the importance of keeping your word? I would venture to say that It’s not meaningless (1) but is it a consistent 10? Jesus said: “let your yes be yes, and your no, no.” (Matthew 5:37) Basically, mean what you say, and follow through. A lot of things are easier said than done, or we wouldn’t be urged to “count the cost in advance.” Can we talk about what keeping a promise means for a bit, then I will share a great book I’ve just … Read More
