2 Peter 3:9 NIV — The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
From the beginning, God has patiently scattered examples of grace and mercy everywhere:
- The Garden?
- The Ark?
- Confusing our language instead of destroying us?
- Including us Gentiles (we were never Plan B!)!! ?
Pretty cool, right? And we can practice by imitating Him!
Examples of Grace @ Worth Beyond Rubies
I have the privilege of guest posting today over at Worth Beyond Rubies
The 10 Days of Awe in Old Testament times was a time of self examination and repentance. As a Messianic Jew, Diane is hosting a selection of guests who will point us toward the Grace and Mercy of the New Covenant, in honor of The 10 Days of Awe.
I want to share with you a few practical examples of grace (and mercy) in some of my favorite books. So please follow me over to Worth Beyond Rubies
to see what books made an impact on me in this category!
I find that by reading stories of others experiencing Grace and Mercy, I am more likely to recognize them in my own life. How about you? Do you find that true in your life?
